An out-of-the-ordinary musical scene spread within the 50,000 people living in Mberra camp, in the hot desert of Mauritania, at the border with Mali. Despite the harsh living conditions of people fleeing multiple conflicts, Arab and Tuareg musicians-refugees started to make music together. A unique musical style is born, a mixture of antique tunes, blues & improvisation. The artist’s royalties of this record will be donated to Intersos in order to support future humanitarian projects.
